Friday – Roll on weekend

What an awesome day in Port Alfred. My day started off as usual, up at 04h55, read a little and put on the kettle, made school lunch and woke up the champ. Chatted over my coffee and got ready for the bus. After dropping Ethan off I went to the beach as usual, however today was a little different, I was not dressed for work. I took a nice long stroll along East Beach in quiet reflection of what was, what is and what is to come. I was so excited I have to hold myself back otherwise I would have run home to get the day going. I headed back home and woke Gabby up, we ate breakfast together and headed off to school. On my way I got a call from Pudding, he had bought coffee and muffins and we decided to go to the beach and eat them. So there I was again 8 o’clock in the morning my second visit to the beach, enjoying the feeling of the sun on my skin and drinking a good coffee with my mate. I strolled into work later this morning still dressed in casual clothes and started my day. First task, get rid of all the clutter that built up during the week. 10min later that was done. That bad old habit procrastination has found somewhere else to hand out cause he is not hanging around here anymore. Then I was off to see client, I spend the whole morning meeting with clients, before I knew it school was out and it was time to fetch Gabby. My day is almost done and it is only lunch time. I decided to “work” through lunch today and get next week lined up. I know it will be better than this week and this week was awesome. So for the rest of the day it is networking time.
Ethan and I have planned an awesome little triathlon for the weekend, all his idea. So on Sat we will tackle that, it is the opening of the play center, mates down from PE, long walk with Bron on the beach. Man this weekend is looking great and it hasn’t started. For anyone reading this I hope you feel the same way about life. It is a contagious feeling. All it takes is the realization that we are constantly in the process of creating our own life, every thought, action and word spoken all paves the way for tomorrow. We are indeed the masters of our own destiny, however far to often we do not reach out and take control of our lives.
I think it was Henry Ford who said ” whether you think you can or think you can’t… you right” well I think the same about life, whether you think it is awesome or think it sucks you right.
If you think it sucks then I would suggest seeing someone to help you understand the reality of how things work. At the end of the day we each choose our experience. I have chosen mine and I love it. I now live a 7 day weekend….
