Thank you for hearing me. For understanding that even as I child I had a voice.

Thank you for your wisdom that guided me when my choices would lead to unintended consequences.

Thank you for letting me make the wrong choices as this helped me grow into a man.

Thank you for standing beside me and whispering words of encouragement.

Thank you for the sacrifices you made so that I could have what was needed.

Thank you for nurturing my dreams.

Thank you for teaching me to listen to the music in the wind and see the paintings in the sky.

Thank you for instilling in me a love of nature.

Thank you for showing me Love, Kindness and Manners, as these lessons are best learnt by watching them lived out.

Thank you for teaching me to be strong and have boundaries.

Thank you for showing me what it means to be compassionate.

Thank you for teaching me how to stand up for myself.

Thank you for shedding tears with me when I was sad.

Thank you for sharing laughter and joy with me daily.

Thank you for your openness to speak about the difficult things.

Thank you for believing in me.

Thank you Mom for being you.

    • Thanks Chuck, and thank you for the chat last night. Enjoyed your parable on Nobody and Faith. It is the kind of story that makes one re look at throwing in the towel and trusting that everything will be okay in the end
