Greed

Greed, it is like a cancer in our society. I am rather fustrated with this terrible human trait. One cannot seem to escape it and I think it is time that we as a society take a stand against greed.
No more greedy leaders.
No more big business hiding profits and treating staff unfairly.
No more greed where people are trying to gain at the expense of someone else.

I fully support big profits, I support big salaries, I support excellent return on investment and I support people who take risks and get the big rewards.
All of this can be achieved without anyone having to be greedy.

Greed robs people. Greed robs the greedy. They lose respect, they lose self respect, greedy people lose sight of the bigger picture and the joy of giving and sharing. You will see the greedy person, they cannot distinguish between an appropriate boundary and greed. The greedy person operates from a space of scarcity where there is never enough. Not enough money, not enough time, not enough of anything.  The polar opposite is the successful person who is not greedy. They are charitable, they care deeply about others and they operate from a space of abundance. These are the truly wealthy amongst us.

Some of the most greedy people I have met are those with a sense of entitlement, people who have not achieved anything significant themselves but want to use the position they fill to try and grab what they have before it dissapears as they know they cannot achieve it themselves.

To those of you grab what you you have not worked for, enjoy it whilst it lasts as your ill gotten gains will slip through your fingers like water. The people will take a stand for what is right and in the end you will get that which you deserve and have rightfully earned.

For the rest of us, keep fighting the good fight. The rewards will be yours at the end of the day. You will take pride in your work and you will find value in what you have created. Yours will always be a world of abundance, love, joy and fellowship with great people.
